When Princess Diana died...

I was with Tony...

I remember sitting in that overstuffed bed of his, not completely understanding the gravity of her being and the loss of her.

But there was Tony, sobbing.

He's the one that made me realize what an important person she was in our world...

The world theatre serves a great purpose -- in passing the messages of people to people. In her case, she was the great bringer of hope to so many people.

Tony had HIV/AIDS -- he really showed the signs that the medications had on people at the time. He had that chiseled face that men had at the time.

Each of the different drugs that men took at the time had these different weird side effects. Many men of the time got the hump on the back of their neck's... and these men would switch to a new drug and a new side effect.

Anyhow, back to Diana & Tony. With his health status and regimen of daily duties, he really saw her as a beacon of hope in his life. She brought him the hope that HIV/AIDS would no longer be the curse it has been in his community, of San Francisco.
